Fish Soup is also called boiled fish: Fish is a good source for protein and it is easy to
digest. This recipe is a time-saving recipe, you can have your soup done in about 15
0.5 lb walleye fillet sliced into 1/2 inch cubes, 4 slices of fresh ginger root, 1 green
onion chopped, 1 clove of garlic chopped, 2 tbsp dark soy sauce, 1 tbsp vinegar, 1 tbsp
cooking wine (optional), and 2 tbsp olive oil.
1. Put all the ingredients EXCEPT the fish into a soup pan, turn on the stove until the
ingredients fully bubble(boiling) for 10 seconds.
2. Add 4 cups of water into the pan and continue cook it until boiling. Put the fish cubes
in the boiling soup. Continue cook for another 7-10 minutes. Done:)
3. Option: mix 1 tbsp corn starch with a little water and add to the soup at the end to
thicken the broth.
Serves 2 people.
