Seaweed is rich in calcium, magnesium, potassium, iodine, iron and zinc. Tofu is of
good source of protein and easy to digest. This recipe is a very nutritional and
easy-to-make recipe.


2 grams (a palm size) of seaweed,
1 tofu (14 oz soft/silk tofu is better) cut into 1/4inch x 1/4inch small pieces,
1 green onion chopped,
1 tbsp light soy sauce,
1 pinch of salt, and
2 tbsp olive or other oil,
1 tsp corn starch (optional).


1. Put half of the green onion, the salt, the soy sauce, and the oil into a soup pan, turn
on the stove until the ingredients fully bubble(boiling) for 5 seconds.

2. Add 3 cups of water into the pan and continue cook it until boiling. Put the seaweed
and tofu in the boiling soup. Continue cook for another 5-7 min. Add the other half of the
green onion in.

4. Option: mix 1 tbsp corn starch with a little water and add to the soup before adding
the 2nd half of the green onion to thicken the broth.

Serves 2 people.
