Liver is a good source of iron. In traditional Chinese medicine, it can help in
maintaining healthy eyes. It is a very nutritious food, especially for people who watch
computers screens or smart phones a lot.
1. One lb of liver, it can be beef liver, or pork liver, or chicken liver.
2. 3/4 cup of teriyaki sauce or soy sauce, 1 teaspoon salt, 2 cloves of garlic sliced, 2
green onion chopped, 0.5oz ginger sliced, 1 small piece of cinnamon bark, 1/4 cup
cooking wine (optional). (only use 50% of the teriyaki sauce and salt if cooking chicken
1. Boil the liver in clean water for 10 minutes, clean the liver and throw the water away.
2. Put all other ingredients and the liver into a pan and add enough water to cover the
liver, cook until the liver is well cooked (no blood oozes out when a fork pokes it). Take
the liver out and cool it down. Slice the liver into smaller pieces. Done.
Serve 5 people.
