Tofu is a popular healthy food made of soybeans. It is rich in calcium, protein, and can
reduce “stomach heat,” which in turn can reduce food cravings. Here are two delicious
recipes for tofu:
1 piece of tofu (about 14oz), 1 green onion chopped to small pieces, 2 tbsp soy sauce
or ½ tsp salt, 1 tbsp olive oil (or vegetable oil) or 1 tsp sesame oil.
1. Cold Onion Tofu: mix the tofu, green onion, salt and sesame oil in a plate, smash
them with a fork until all the ingredients are mixed well. Serve 4 people.
2. Hot Tofu dish: cut the tofu into ½ inch cubes, mix the tofu carefully with the soy sauce,
green onion, and the olive oil, microwave for 5 minutes. Serve 4 people.
